8. Other information

The Controller’s Service may use so-called social media plugins for platforms such as Facebook. Through the functionalities provided by these plugins, you can recommend specific content or share it on a given social networking service. Please note that by using these plugins, data is exchanged between you and the relevant social media platform. The Controller does not process this data and has no knowledge of what data is collected. Therefore, we encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of the owners of these social media services before using a given plugin.

9. Do we transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area?

Your personal data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area to Google LLC and Facebook on the basis of appropriate legal safeguards, namely the standard contractual clauses for the protection of personal data approved by the European Commission.

10. Disclosure and entrusting of data processing

  • Data is disclosed to external entities only within legally permitted limits (e.g. at the request of the police).
  • The operator may be obliged to provide information collected by the Service to authorized authorities on the basis of lawful requests, to the extent resulting from such a request (e.g. in the case of a court order).
  • At the request of the police, prosecutor’s office, and other law enforcement or authorized authorities, the Service owner reserves the right to provide the IP address data of users using the discussion forum on the service or using the option to comment on news and articles on the service.

11. Main cooperating entities (list of partners who collect personal data on the blog)

  • In order to provide our services and improve and analyze them, we also use the services and tools of other entities. Below we present selected information about the services and tools we use that you should know in matters related to the protection of your personal data:
  • Google Analytics – on the blog we use the Google Analytics tool provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), based in the USA. This is a web analytics service performed by Google (Google acts here as a processor) on our behalf using cookies. Additional information can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en – this is a very popular tool commonly used by website owners. It collects information about viewership, traffic source, visit duration, cities from which users come, and other similar data. This type of personal data is transferred to and stored on Google’s server in the USA. In our services, IP anonymization has been enabled, which causes Google to shorten users’ IP addresses earlier in Member States of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Anonymization takes place directly after receipt of the data, even before it is stored. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.
  • Google Adsense / DoubleClick for Publishers – we participate in the Google Adsense program. Google displays ads in several advertising fields on the blog and website. To display ads and manage advertising campaigns on our Services, we use the DoubleClick for Publishers tool provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), based in the USA. This is a platform that enables us to carry out advertising campaigns commissioned by our clients (advertisers), i.e. to plan, display, measure, and report on them. We strive to ensure that the ads displayed on our websites are as closely matched as possible to your current interests and also that you are not shown the same ads too many times. For this purpose, in DoubleClick for Publishers we use cookies and the profiling processes described above. Google also collects and processes your data to better tailor advertising across all websites that are Google partners and use Google advertising tools: DoubleClick for Publishers, DoubleClick Bid Manager, Google AdX, as well as AdWords and AdSense programs. Please note that you can prevent the storage of data collected cookies and data (including IP address) related to your use of the website by Google, as well as prevent Google from processing such data, by changing your settings.
  • Facebook – we use a Facebook frame (Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland), which displays followers of my blog on the Facebook social network. When browsing the content of the blog and forum in which the social plugin has been integrated, the social networking service establishes a direct connection with the browser. Through this, Facebook receives, among other things, information that you visited us from a given IP address. If you are logged into the given social networking service at the same time, the social networking service automatically assigns your visit to the page to your profile.

12. How will Google use data on our website?

  • Google uses information made available on websites and in apps to provide and improve services, manage them, develop new services, measure the effectiveness of advertising, protect against fraud and abuse, and personalize content and ads displayed by Google and on the websites and apps of our partners.
  • Visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and review the current information.
